Parking – Parking lot is behind the Church, or adjacent to Washington Street. You will not be allowed to park or stop on Ridge Avenue to drop off guests. 

General Location – St Nicholas is located on Ridge approximately 1.5 Miles south of Howard Street (Evanston/Chicago Boundry). It is between Madison and Washington Streets on Ridge Ave. Asbury is the next street West.  

Major Streets are as Follows: 

North – Main Street (Dempster is next North major street)

East – Ridge Street (Chicago is next East major Street)

South – Oakton (Howard is the next South major street)

West - Asbury (Dodge is the next West major street)

From the South (City) – Western Avenue turns into Asbury in Evanston. Continue South on Asbury till Washington Street. Turn east and go one block.  

Taking Lake Shore Drive – Take Lake Shore drive all the way till it ends on the north end. This is Hollywood. Continue on Hollywood until it turns into Ridge. Stay on Ridge till you get to the church. (Ridge makes several curves on it’s route, so stay alert.) Remember that the Church will be on your left about 1.5 miles after Howard Street. 

Taking the Eden’s – Take the Dempster East exit. Take Dempster East until you reach Ridge Street (the block after Asbury). Turn right (south) and go approximately one mile to Washington.  

From 294 – You will also get off at the Dempster East Exit, but your trip will be much longer, as you will be traveling quite a while to get to Ridge.  

From Sheridan Road – Although it may be under construction (and not recommended,) you can take this street to Main Street in Evanston. Go West on Main till Ridge Turn Left and go one block to Washington.
